Review Policy
All manuscripts fulfilling the formal requirements undergo a double blind peer-review process provided by the member(s) of the Editorial Board and/or two anonymous external reviewers. The double blind process means that neither the author knows the reviewer’s identity nor the reviewer knows the name of the author or other reviewer. Position of the Editor-in-Chief, editor and section editor is incompatible with the position of reviewer of they know identity of the author.
Reviewers are not affiliated with the same institution as the authors.
To facilitate and uniform review process, the review form is used.
The manuscript is accepted, accepted conditionally or rejected on the basis of the reviewers’ suggestions. If accepted conditionally, the author is supposed to correct it while taking the remarks of the reviewers into account and the reviewers are entitled to ask for re-evaluation of the paper.
The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief, who reports it to Editorial Board. The Editorial Board can challenge and revert decision of the Editor-in-Chief in any stage of review procedure.
Finally, accepted manuscripts are edited in accordance with the practices of the journal.
Editors reserve the right to refuse any contribution which does not comply with the requirements of form and content or which will be assessed as not suitable for publishing by the reviewer.
To ensure the integrity of the blind peer-review for submission to this journal every effort should be made to prevent the identities of the authors from being known to each other. This involves the authors checking to see if the following steps have been taken with regard to the text and the file properties:
- The authors of the document have deleted their names from the text.
- With Microsoft Office documents, author identification should also be removed from the properties for the file (see under File in Word), by clicking on the following, beginning with File on the main menu of the Microsoft application: File > Save As > Tools (or Options with a Mac) > Security > Remove personal information from file properties on save > Save.
- With PDFs, the authors' names should also be removed from Document Properties found under File on Adobe Acrobat's main menu.
